What is your check in procedure?

At Still Life properties most arrivals during office hours will receive an in person meet and greet. During this process a member of staff will be meeting you at the apartment to show you around, answer questions, and hand over your keys. On some occasions a self check in will be arranged and we will then send you a video link to the full apartment introduction video. Please keep an eye on your emails in the days prior to your arrival as we will be emailing you an arrival document with the full address, a map location, and some photos showing the building exterior. When staying with our partners different arrival procedures will be in place and we will also be communicating these with you via email.

Why do I need to provide my passport?

As part of our fraud prevention procedure we ask all guest to provide a photo of the passports of the credit card holder and all guests including children. You can cover some of the sensitive information leaving visible the full name and picture. In addition for health and safety as in the event of a fire or any other emergency we need to be able to identify the guests and also share the information with the police if required

Can I check out of my apartment late?

With Still Life apartments our standard check out time is 11:00, but later check outs can we requested on a non-guaranteed, or guaranteed basis (paid for). With the non guaranteed late check out we would confirm the possibility the day prior to you checking out. Its availability would depend on the check in time of the following guest as we require time to clean the apartment and get it ready for them. Please note that if you are staying with one of our partners different departure times and procedures will be in place.

How do I check into my apartment out of hours?

Our standard check in times are between 15:00 and 19:00 – during this window we will provide an in person meet and greet to give you access to the apartment, and to cover some key points within the apartment that will be useful for your stay. If you are arriving after 19:00 then we have self check in options via key boxes. If you have self checked into and apartment we will provide you with a video link to the full meet and greet recorded by one of our team members so you will still receive all the apartment information relevant to your stay.

Please note that if you are staying with one of our partner providers different arrival procedures will be in place.

Can I check into my apartment early?

Our standard check in time is from 15:00 as this gives us enough time to check out the previous guest and to prepare the apartment for your arrival. If our previous guest checked out early or if the apartment was empty then we will definitely do our best to accommodate you. Please make us aware of any request like this in advance via email at [email protected]

Are you able to store my luggage?

We do not have any onsite luggage storage facilities there are however a number of companies offering this service at large train station throughout London. If you are having trouble locating one of them we will be happy to provide you with some options for this.

When will my £250 damage deposit be returned?

We will check the apartment on the day of your departure and then process the refund. The speed it takes to return the damage deposit will be dependent on how it was paid. Sagepay deposits are quicker than back transfer refunds. We will make the refund on the following working day after your departure and it could take up to 5 working days to reflect in your account.
