Slightly raised above the lively streets around Gammel Strand, this single-level apartment offers a welcoming base for up to four guests, with a bright living area, a practical kitchen and a marble-clad bathroom that brings a touch of Danish refinement. From morning coffee to an evening nightcap, you are immersed in the rhythm of central Copenhagen while still having a calm space to return to.

Inside, clean lines and a simple aesthetic create an unfussy backdrop to your stay. The design feels more like a well-kept boutique hotel than a traditional home, with industrial-style touches and retro artwork adding personality without overwhelming the space. A laptop-friendly area and fast wi-fi keep city-breakers and business travellers connected, while thoughtful details such as a cot, high chair, extra pillows and blankets ensure small families are well looked after. With a fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, longer stays are as straightforward as a weekend escape.

The Strøget City Nook experience is intentionally straightforward rather than overtly luxurious, and some elements reflect this relaxed approach. The decor includes some fake plants and a few light scuff marks on the walls, and the overall feel is simple, echoing a hotel more than a high-end design showcase. The apartment sits directly beside Strøget, so you may notice street noise at times, and guests three and four will sleep on a sofa bed in the living room. Access is via stairs to the second floor with no elevator, and arrival is contactless, with keys collected from a lockbox and no in-person check-in. There is currently no written home manual, so any questions on appliance use will need to be raised during your stay, but once settled you have a practical, central base from which to enjoy Copenhagen.
